Seeking a Podiatrist either experienced or competent new graduate to work in a multidisciplinary clinic in a picturesque community. Our clinic includes physiotherapists, and exercise physiologists. The applicant would find this role all encompassing across all areas of podiatry with a mixture of private work, NDIS, DVA, home visits, diabetes work, routine nail care, orthotic prescription and much more. You would be a first contact provider with much variety in your role. As a private clinic we see a great variety of needs so you wont be stuck doing the one form of podiatry.
We are a small business and not a large corporate entity and as such we do not work in an environment with the business models that some of these companies may foster. Everyone here is valued team members.
This role includes both in rooms work in the clinic and also home visits with some travel to clients. We operate out of other clinics in Hervey Bay and Maryborough so you can choose to live in a variety of locations. A work car will be provided including fuel that is to be used throughout the day if necessary so no use of your own personal car once you arrive at work. We work in a happy team environment as wish to maintain this with the prospective applicant.
The town of Childers is a small, predominantly farming community with the larger centres or Bundaberg (40mins), Maryborough (45min) and Hervey bay (60min) close when you need larger services. It is a very supportive community and as a podiatrist you will be welcomed warmly into this caring community.
We currently have a mixture of professionals who choose to live in Bundaberg, Maryborough or Hervey Bay and commute for work. Some live in Childers also and that would be up to your personal preferences. They are all wonderful places to live.
On top of pay we will pay $1000 for PD yearly and we run weekly in-services with all of the professional staff so we can be across the needs of our clients.
We require the applicant to be a university qualified podiatrist with full insurance cover. We are ideally looking for a person who wishes to have full time work but we can also accommodate part time and this will be up for negotiation.
We are looking for an individual that wants to be part of a multidisciplinary team that is willing to learn and involve in the local community. The applicant will need a driving licence and be comfortable with a role that involves driving to home visits to assist people in the region.
The role can be both FULL TIME or PART TIME depending on the candidate and we are flexible with hours worked. Pay is great and conditions are negotiable with the right candidate.
