This is a full time roleworking a nine-day fortnight with a rostered day off.You will be responsible for routine landscapemaintenance which will include:Weed control (manual and herbicidal)PlantingMulchingTo succeed you will need the followingcompetencies:Previous experience in a horticulture role where you haveundertaken a wide range of parks and gardens maintenance anddevelopment activities.A demonstrated understanding of horticultural maintenancepractices and techniques, including the ability to correctlyuse a range of small plant and equipment.A commitment to producing work of the highest quality.The proven ability to work well in a team, and excellentcustomer service skills.A desire to learn and develop your skills.A valid White Card.You will also need to be able to provide a National PoliceClearance no more than 6 months old (or have the ability to applyfor one) and provide proof of right to work in Australia.Applicants who have a MR class driver's licence will behighly regarded, and a chainsaw certificate of competency plus arecognised qualification in chemical handling/application would beadvantageous, although training can be provided.
