OHS & Fleet Management Role

About the Job
The successful candidate will lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of YYNAC`s Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS). They will ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation – fostering a proactive safety culture, while minimising risks to staff and visitors.
Additionally, the OHS Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of fleet vehicles across operations, maintenance, budgeting, procurement safety and compliance, cost control and fleet optimisation.
About You
* You should have relevant OHS qualification/s with at least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
* Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing safe work practices.
* Solid knowledge of OHS legislation and standards.
* Able to communicate and develop relationships across all levels of the organisation.
* Fleet Coordination/Management experience across a large fleet in a complex environment.
* Prior experience working with Traditional Owner organisations is viewed favourably.
The successful applicant will be subject to reference checks and drug and alcohol screening, and will need to provide a National Police Check and a Working with Children Check.
