About the role
Treu Construct' is seeking an experienced Formwork Carpenter / Site Manager / Foreman to join our team in Geelong, Victoria. As a Formwork Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in the construction of high-quality buildings and infrastructure projects. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of our company.
What you'll be doing
* Measuring, cutting, and assembling formwork components according to Drawings and specifications
* Installing formwork structures for concrete pouring, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards
* Dismantling and removing formwork after concrete has set
* Maintaining and repairing formwork equipment and tools
* Collaborating with construction teams to coordinate formwork activities
* Adhering to all workplace health and safety regulations
* Ability to pour concrete
* Ability to tie reinforcement
* Ability to work in Melbourne as required

What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter, with a minimum of 3 years in the trade
* Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, formwork assembly, and concrete pouring processes
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
* Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools related to formwork construction
* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Commitment to workplace health and safety
* Relevant trade qualification or certificate in Carpentry and/or Formwork
* Valid work visa or appropriate Australian work rights required
