The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (the Commission) was formed on 1 January 2019. We work to improve the lives of older people by maintaining the integrity of the aged care system.

As the single independent regulator of Australian Government aged care services, we offer a variety of interesting and challenging jobs across most capital cities.

About the Team

The Digital Governance and Compliance Team sits within the Strategy and Architecture Section of the Digital Group. That section provides strategic direction, guidance, and governance for the effective management and optimisation of the Commission's Digital & ICT infrastructure, ensuring that technology investments support the Commission's goals and priorities.

The purpose of the Digital Governance and Compliance Team is to establish and enforce governance frameworks, policies, and compliance standards for the delivery of digital initiatives within the Commission, to safeguard project integrity, regulatory compliance, deliver visibility into project risks, and support enterprise-wide reporting.

About the Role

Portfolio Support ensures the smooth operation and ongoing activities of the Strategy & Architecture Group.

This role will primarily act as a secretariat for approved digital working groups, team meetings and other governance forums.

It will also provide support to the Director, Strategy & Architecture in liaising with other administrative teams to ensure all logistical arrangements are set for team workshops and other travel and to communicate key messaging from the Executive to ensure the meeting of key deliverables and milestones.

Position Details

Key Accountabilities

* Act as secretariat for Strategy & Architecture governance forums, working groups, and meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and action/decision logs.
* Support the preparation of governance papers, project reports, and briefings for executive committees.
* Coordinate communication between Strategy & Architecture leadership, business areas, and stakeholders to ensure deliverables and milestones are met.
* Monitor governance mailboxes and calendars, ensuring timely response and escalation as required.
* Provide administrative support for governance and portfolio activities

Key Capabilities

* Communicates with Influence: Produces clear, accurate written materials and communicates effectively with a range of stakeholders.

Technical/Role-Specific Skills:

* Experience in governance/portfolio support in a digital or regulatory environment.
* Strong coordination and secretariat skills (agendas, minutes, action tracking).
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Teams.
* Strong organisation, time management, and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities

Salary offered will be between $83,204- $93,226 per annum depending on skills and experience. In addition, 15.4% superannuation will be paid.

Roles are offered on an Ongoing/Non-Ongoing basis, with non-ongoing roles offered for an initial period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of one extension up to an additional 12 months.
