About The Role
Step into a rewarding leadership opportunity as a Senior Pharmacist, where you will play a vital role in the organisation, management and day-to-day operation of a designated pharmacy area. In this dynamic position, you will deliver a comprehensive, high-level range of pharmacy services, exercising independent and autonomous judgement to provide expert medicines information and therapeutic advice to patients, medical, nursing and allied health professionals. Working in line with hospital policies, professional standards and best practice guidelines, you will be central to ensuring safe, effective and patient-centred care.
You will be instrumental in optimising patient outcomes by championing the quality use of medicines and implementing strategies that promote safe and cost-effective pharmaceutical practices. Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, support clinical decision-making and contribute to a culture of excellence across the service. About You
As a motivated and experienced pharmacy professional, you will meet the following essential minimum requirements and bring a strong commitment to excellence in patient care:
Bachelor of Pharmacy with AHPRA registration (or eligibility)Extensive hospital pharmacy experience with leadership capabilityStrong communication, problem-solving and analytical skillsProven ability to lead teams and improve service delivery
