Job Specification
In this permanent full-time role, you'll lead a dedicated pharmacy team providing specialised oncology, clinical trial, and compounding services. This is a rewarding alternative to Community Pharmacy where you'll work closely with Oncologists, Nurses, and Allied Health professionals to support the delivery of life-saving therapies. Whether you're an experienced clinical pharmacist or transitioning from community pharmacy, full training and mentorship are available.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing day-to-day pharmacy operations and team performance.
* Providing clinical oversight and ensuring safe, effective medication management.
* Supporting and mentoring a team of Pharmacists and Technicians.
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
* Contributing to clinical trials and sterile compounding services.
* Driving continuous improvement in service delivery and team capability.
Skills Required
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
* Current AHPRA general registration as a Pharmacist.
* At least 5 years of experience in an Australian pharmacy setting, including leadership responsibilities.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and executive teams.
* A proactive, growth-oriented approach.
Desirable but not essential:
* Experience in Oncology, Clinical Trials, Compounding, or Hospital Pharmacy.
