DescriptionStore person – Emerald We are looking for a talented Store person to join our high performing team based in Emerald. In this role, you will be part of our high-functioning team working the day shift. We are happy to train the right candidate, even if you are new to warehousing and lack extensive experience.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Receive, handle, store, perform system transactions, and dispatch goods in the warehouseData entry and processing ordersReceive incoming goods, accurately sort, label/package, store, and optimize warehouse spaceCheck for damages and discrepancies between goods and invoicesPick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to requests or ordersLiaise with internal and external stakeholdersComplete cycle counts and routine stock takesMaintain a clean and safe work environment through housekeeping dutiesResponsibilitiesTo be successful in this role, you will need the following:
A current Forklift license is advantageousPrevious warehousing/stores experience is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidateAbility to work independently and commit to safety and efficiencyIntermediate computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel) and quick learner of new systemsGood team player with excellent communication skillsQualificationsAdditional Information:
38 hours per weekMonday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00Some weekend work may be requiredThis role is part of the On Call RosterExperienceIntermediate level work experience requiredCertification to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery is necessary
