As a Design Engineer at Caledonia, you will play a key role in designing safe, practical, and cost-effective scaffolding and access systems for a wide range of projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers, site supervisors, and clients to develop detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and methodologies that support the successful delivery of works.
This position offers flexibility to be based in South Australia, Western Australia, or other locations depending on project requirements and candidate preference.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop detailed scaffolding and temporary works designs using industry-standard software.
* Produce drawings, engineering calculations, and documentation for tender, construction, and compliance purposes.
* Provide technical engineering support to project teams and clients.
* Ensure all designs meet Australian Standards, safety regulations, and internal quality requirements.
* Assist with site inspections, audits, and issue resolution as required.
* Work collaboratively across engineering, operations, and site teams to deliver practical solutions.
* Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement in design approaches and engineering processes.
