THE OPPORTUNITY


Viva Leisure parent company to Rebalance one of Australia's leading fitness companies are looking for a new Studio Manager to join the team on a permanent full-time basis in Glen Waverley

Founded in 2004, Viva Leisure operates fitness clubs within the health and leisure industry. We have a trajectory of growth as the largest independent health club operator in Australia and are the first fitness facility operator to list on the Australian Securities Exchange.

As the face of Rebalance, our Studio Managers create a welcoming, professional, and inspiring environment where members feel valued and engaged. You'll take ownership of studio operations, from driving membership growth and maintaining immaculate facilities, to delivering an exceptional fitness experience that reflects our brand.

Leading by example, you'll build and motivate a high-performing team, ensuring outstanding customer service and program delivery that consistently exceed expectations. Highly organised and action-oriented, you'll manage administration, rosters, and compliance with ease, while adapting quickly to changing priorities.

This is a dynamic leadership role where you'll combine people management, operational excellence, and a passion for member experience to drive community connection and sustainable studio growth.


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS


We are looking for someone with:

* Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Certifications in Yoga, Pilates, or Barre (desirable)
* Strong knowledge of and a passion for the Fitness Industry
* Demonstrated experience in a similar position within studio, boutique fitness, fitness club management, or a comparable retail environment
* Demonstrated people management and team leadership experience
* Proven sales aptitude with a results-driven mindset and ability to meet targets
* Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with a passion for engaging both team members and clients to strengthen the brand. Skilled in supporting diverse tasks and mentoring future leaders to help them achieve peak performance
* Proven ability to drive operational excellence through strong organisational and formal operational skills. Capable of managing multiple priorities effectively, with a proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and agility in adapting to evolving business needs
* Ability to be a role model and live our Viva values, and behaviours while being passionate about our brands. You will demonstrate professionalism, respect, courtesy and support
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Deliver an exceptional in-studio experience that reflects the Rebalance brand and builds strong member relationships.
* Drive member engagement, satisfaction, and retention through quality programs, services, and customer support.
* Oversee daily studio operations, ensuring facilities are safe, clean, well-presented, and run efficiently.
* Lead and support a high-performing team, managing recruitment, training, rostering, and performance.
* Promote the studio and brand through local marketing initiatives, social media, and community engagement.
* Manage administration, compliance, and reporting requirements with accuracy and attention to detail.
