Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of sustainability frameworks, climate risk integration, and compliance with climate disclosure reporting requirements. They will provide expert advice to executives and the Board, manage cross-functional projects, and lead a small team to drive sustainable business practices.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and deliver ESG strategies that strengthen sustainability outcomes and meet evolving reporting requirements.
">
* Provide advice to executives and the Board on climate risk, sustainability opportunities, and compliance obligations.
">
* Manage the upkeep and improvement of the environmental management system, working collaboratively to ensure it meets organisational needs.
">
* Lead a team of three and work across business areas to coordinate and deliver sustainability initiatives.
">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have extensive knowledge of sustainability and ESG practices, strong strategic and analytical skills, management of environmental systems, and proven experience influencing at senior levels. Your background should demonstrate the ability to lead teams, deliver cross-organisational initiatives, and navigate complex reporting and compliance frameworks.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Degree-level qualifications in environmental science, sustainability, commerce, economics, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).

* Strong understanding of sustainability principles and ESG practices.

* Proven experience in managing environmental systems and implementing sustainability initiatives.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Able to work effectively in a team environment.
