Role Overview
The Social Content Creator role is part of the content creation team in the Tag Social Studio and is responsible for ideating, filming and editing brand appropriate, social-first video content. These platforms include Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, and in-depth knowledge about the best practices across these platforms is required.
These content pieces may be shot in the Tag studio, hired sets/locations or in casual external settings.
Additionally, the Social Content Creator is also responsible for ideating social first content ideas to be shot by the separate Creative Studio, a separate team of highly skilled photographers and videographers, during larger campaign shoots.
Finally, the Social Content Creator is responsible for analysing content performance and critically thinking about how to improve performance against KPIs agreed on by the external client contacts and internal account teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Ideate, film and edit social first video content.
* Ideate static content and integrate into designs where required.
* Build social content calendars, with copywriting, hashtags and scheduling timelines.
* Stay up to date with social media platforms updates, best practices and integrate this knowledge into content briefs.
* Successfully communicate and liaise with internal stakeholders.
* Quality Control across all delivery against brand guidelines.
* End-to-end administrative ownership of projects.
* In partnership with the Social Studio Director, analyse content performance against agreed KPIs and iterate on how to improve performance in the next production cycle.
* Support the wider Social Studio Team in identifying social trends, content themes and editing styles across the social industry.
* Develop knowledge of Tag's full capabilities and offerings.
* Develop ability to integrate with the Tag Creative Studio
Key Requirements
* 2+ years in video content creation for social media channels (content for own channels, side hustles or passion projects accepted!)
* High level of competency in one of Capcut, DaVinci, Adobe Creative Suite
* High level knowledge of social media best practice, platform updates, trends and content formats
* Some knowledge of social media performance metrics and how they relate to content performance.
* Previous agency experience
* Previous experience using studio lighting, backdrops and advanced production techniques for social content
* Experience in graphic design programs (Adobe Creative Suite)
