About the Role:
At MKS MSP Tech Hub, we are the IT department for the Central Coast’s most dynamic businesses. We don't just fix broken computers; we drive digital transformation. We are looking for a Technical Account Manager (TAM) who is ready to trade the M1 commute for a high-impact local career.

This is a hybrid role: 50% Relationship Management, 30% Strategy (vCIO), and 20% Technical Consulting. You will be the \"face\" of MKS for our key clients. You will translate their business goals into technical roadmaps, ensuring they have the right security, infrastructure, and cloud solutions to grow. You are the bridge between our engineering team and the client’s boardroom.

Key Responsibilities:

* Client Success: Manage a portfolio of managed service clients. Conduct regular QBRs to review performance, discuss strategy, and plan budgets.
* Solution Selling: Identify aging hardware or security gaps. Propose and quote projects (e.g., Cloud Migrations, MFA rollouts) that solve real business problems.
* Escalation Management: You are the \"Red Phone.\" When a major issue arises, you manage the client’s expectations while our engineers fix the tech.
* Onboarding: Lead the welcome process for new clients, ensuring their transition to MKS is seamless and their documentation is perfect.
* Retention: Ensure contract renewals are signed and clients remain happy, sticky, and profitable.

What We Are Looking For:

* Experience: 3+ years in an MSP environment is highly preferred. You need to understand the pace of managed services.
* Technical DNA: You likely started your career on the Helpdesk or as a SysAdmin. You understand how a server works, even if you aren't the one configuring it anymore.
* Commercial Mindset: You understand that IT is an investment, not a cost. You can explain ROI to a non-technical business owner.
* Communication: You have excellent presentation skills. You can command a room and de-escalate tension with a smile.
* Driver's License: You will be visiting client sites across the Coast (and occasionally Newcastle/Sydney).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
