This is a unique opportunity to take the lead in the finance function of an organisation on a 2 year Fixed Term Assignment where you will receive ample training and handover from the current Finance Manager.
About your new role:
Providing sound financial advice to the General Manager, the Finance Manager will take the lead in the finance function of an organisation on a 2 year Fixed Term Assignment. This role requires a hands-on Finance Manager/ Company Accountant with ample experience in the manufacturing industry and working closely with executive management.
Some of the key tasks include:
• Prepare Monthly and Annual financial statements for the leadership team
• Manage the full P&L, cashflow statements, balance sheet recs, GL recs
• Lead the budgeting process
• Prepare costing and production/kpi analysis
• Prepare statutory reports and liaise with the external accountant as required.
• Ad-hoc administrative tasks
• Property management + management of insurances
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
• Manage a small team of accounts and admin staff (AP/AR/Payroll/admin)
About you:
• CPA or CA qualified (preferable)
• Have at least 5 years experience in a similar broad role handling all finance requirements for the business
• Be tech savvy and willing to dive into projects
• Interpersonally, you are a proactive communicator and can work autonomously and in a team environment.
• Proactively seek ways to add value in all areas of your role.
