Job Tasks and Responsibilities: As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:
Handling all aspects of plastering work with precision and expertise.
Demonstrating extensive knowledge in civil, transport, construction, and infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in cutting, measuring, and marking of different types of plaster boards.
Fixing pre-cast cornices, panels, ceilings, and other plaster fittings.
Able to use trowels for rendering, levelling, and smoothing.
Ability to interpret and understand construction plans.
Ability to work with Solid and Fibrous plaster is desired.
Experience in effectively managing a team.
Willingness to be hands-on when necessary.
About You: To be considered for this role, you must:
Have a minimum of 2 years of full-time (or equivalent part-time) relevant work experience, with a hands-on approach.
Possess a keen eye for detail and maintain physical fitness.
Hold a valid contractor license.
Be self-motivated, capable of working independently, and versatile for overtime and Saturday shifts if required.
Be reliable, punctual, and confident in supervising apprentices or junior staff.
Be open to occasional travel, as our projects and clients are primarily based in NSW, with some regional assignments.
Job Details:
Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Schedule: 8-hour shifts
Location: Sydney, NSW
Commute/Relocation: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (preferred)
Licenses/Certifications: White Card, Work Safely at Heights, Driver's License (preferred)
