Join the Finance & Tax Integrated Controls & Monitoring team, supporting the implementation and oversight of key Finance governance and monitoring activities for our Banking and Financial Services Finance team supporting Macquarie's Banking and Financial Services business. The products include Personal Banking, Business Banking, Payments and Deposits and Wealth. This immersive and fast paced role will give you the chance to work closely with recognised experts in their field and across the organisation.

What role will you play?

As a Manager in the Integrated Controls & Monitoring team, you will join a high performing advisory function focused on supporting our Banking and Financial Services Finance team on our ongoing compliance with our policies, standards and Financial Control Framework, and delivering value to key stakeholders, including senior leadership. You will partner with the teams to develop commercial solutions while managing risk. You will provide valuable insights and recommendations to our stakeholders in relation to the initiatives undertaken.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the implementation of group wide policies and frameworks within Banking and Financial Services Finance, performing deep dive reviews, delivering high quality Board Audit Committee reporting, and assisting with broader Banking and Financial Services Financial Management initiatives in an advisory capacity and overseeing the continuous uplift of our financial control environment.

What You Offer

Commerce/Accounting degree and professional accounting qualifications
5+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably within financial services or professional services
Experience in internal audit, controls based external audit or similar assurance roles
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated problem solving skills and attention to detail
Experience in managing multiple workstreams and prioritising tasks to execute on key deliverables
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills to collaborate with and influence stakeholders across all levels
An adaptable and agile mindset, with a genuine interest in understanding Macquarie's corporate structure, businesses and operating environment.
