The service embeds Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander concepts of social and emotional wellbeing, mental health and healing to provide wholistic and wraparound supports to Mob presenting with moderate to severe mental health needs. Service delivery is led by the lived experience and peer workforce with clinical input and oversight provided as required. The multidisciplinary care team provides psychosocial supports, comprehensive assessment, treatment and assertive outreach support to clients aged 15 and above. The Staying Deadly Hub is an extension of the IUIH comprehensive model of care and works closely with stakeholder services to provide responsive care to clients who may otherwise not access support or require inpatient care.Our services are continuing to expand across the Southeast Queensland region and we are meeting the needs to provide quality Social Health services across the community to improve the emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
