**Job Title:** Trades Assistant
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Trades Assistant to provide assistance and support to tradespersons on mechanical repairs and servicing of mobile and fixed plant equipment. This is a residential role based out of our Kalgoorlie Service Centre, with a standard Monday to Friday work schedule.
The successful candidate will be responsible for general housekeeping and cleaning of the workshop, providing assistance to tradespeople, including Diesel Fitters, LV Fitters, Boilermakers, Electricians, and Auto Electricians. They will also be involved in machine cleaning, including high-pressure washing, and running parts and supplies between the work site and workshop.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience as a Trades Assistant or Labourer
* Mechanical aptitude
* Ability to work well with others in a team environment
* Good communication skills, both verbally and written
* A positive work ethic and attitude, upholding safety principles at all times
