The Role
As an Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic, you'll work on the installation, service, and maintenance of systems in a range of settings. You may be placed with clients servicing supermarkets, mining sites, defence bases, large retail chains, or public facilities.
Key Duties
* Install, maintain, and repair air-conditioning and refrigeration systems
* Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
* Interpret technical drawings and documentation
* Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain strong client relationships
* Comply with workplace health and safety policiesMentor apprentices, where applicable
Key Requirements
* Trade qualification in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration
* Proven experience across residential, commercial, or industrial HVAC systems
* Strong fault‑finding and repair skills
* Commitment to safe, high-quality work practices
* Willingness to relocate to regional Australia
* Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
A positive outcome on a skills assessment / OTSR issued by Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) is highly desirable, but not essential. Please indicate on your application if you have this or are in the process.
