Your new role
As the AO7 Business Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role within a major service group, partnering closely with executive and clinical leaders to drive operational and financial performance. This is a hands‐on, influential role where your insights and advice will directly inform executive decision‐making and support the effective planning, funding, and delivery of healthcare services.
You will lead core business and finance functions, including:
* Budget development, forecasting, and performance reporting
* Activity Based Funding and revenue strategy
* Financial modelling, business cases, and service planning
* Process improvement and financial governance initiatives
* Oversight of procurement, contracts, and asset planning
* Leadership and development of multidisciplinary teams
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* CA or CPA qualifications (or equivalent senior‐level experience)
* Proven senior finance or business leadership experience within complex organisations
* Strong capability across budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and financial modelling
* Experience working in highly governed, fast‐moving environments
* Advanced Excel and financial systems skills
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner at executive level
* A collaborative leadership style with a strong governance and improvement mindset
* Healthcare experience is highly regarded but not essential for candidates with strong transferable sector experience.
