Program Finance Specialist – 12 Month ContractDarwin, NT (hybrid/remote considered)
SRA Information Technology is seeking a Program Finance Specialist to support a complex, multi-project program environment.
This role focuses on financial management and governance across multiple projects, supporting program leadership with accurate reporting, forecasting, and financial oversight.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage program budgets, forecasts, and financial plansMonitor expenditure, commitments, and accruals against approved fundingProvide financial reporting, including variance analysis and cash flow forecastingIdentify financial risks and provide mitigation strategies and re-forecasting adviceSupport business case development and cost modellingEnsure compliance with financial management frameworks and procurement requirementsWork closely with program leadership, project managers, and finance teamsContribute to audit processes and continuous improvement of financial governance
Skills and experience requiredRelevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or similar (CA/CPA desirable) Experience supporting financial management within large programs or portfolios Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis capability Experience with financial reporting tools, dashboards, and governance frameworks Ability to communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders
