The Opportunity
UEL is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join us in our mission of providing exceptional education and care to our little people. This role leads a small, passionate team to drive initiatives that supports quality, compliance, and regulatory adherence across UEL Operations.
You'll work hand-in-hand with our operations teams, providing fit-for-purpose tools and practical advice, ensuring our quality frameworks are not just compliant, but truly support our educators and children. As a trusted partner, you'll "roll up your sleeves" and work alongside colleagues to embed best practice and continuous improvement.
Your mission will be to ensure compliance and ongoing accreditation with state and federal legislation, support Operations with assessment and rating, establish and review policies, and contribute to quality improvement frameworks, goals, and principles. In addition, you will lead Uniting Early Learning's 'Building Bridges' program, supporting the professional development of both In Home and Family Day Care educators.
About You
You are someone who thrives in a growing organisation and is passionate about developing and embedding quality frameworks. You excel at building strong relationships with stakeholders, especially operational leaders, and are known for your collaborative, hands-on approach. You're not afraid to "pull up your sleeves" and work alongside others to achieve shared goals.
Required skills/experience include:
* Team management experience.
* Experience in the development and implementation of quality and/or compliance frameworks.
* Experience with project management (Desirable).
* Willingness to collaborate across UEL and the wider Qld Synod departments.
* Ability to interpret, analyse and implement regulation policy changes.
* Experience in developing, monitoring, auditing and improving quality practice and systems.
* Able to drive and lead change.
* Valid Drivers Licence, Working with Children Check (WWCC/Blue Card) and National Police Clearance.
