About our Client
Our client is a well-known multinational organization and leader in their field. They are seeking a switched-on, experienced Payroll Officer to join their growing organisation. They boast a close-knit working environment and positive working culture. Due movement in the team, they are currently looking for a Payroll Officer to join their supportive team on a permanent basis, full-time basis.
Duties
Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you will be responsible for full-function payroll as follows:
o Processing weekly payroll for approximately 300-400 employes
o New starters and terminations
o Award interpretation (approximately 16 different EBAs)
o Processing annual leave, sick leave and adjustments and allowances
o Superannuation processing
o Payroll tax/PAYG
o Handling payroll queries
o UAT Testing as it relates to the T&A project
Successful Applicant
The Successful Applicant Will Have The Following
o Prior experience within a similar Payroll Officer position coupled with excellent full-function payroll knowledge
o Experience using iChris, Chris 21, or other large payroll platforms along with Kronos T&A is essential
o Experience interpreting EBAs and awards
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
o The ability to work in a team-based environment
o Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise urgent work
o Willingness to learn and be a team player
o Ability to start immediately
