VDS Constructions PTY LTD is seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join our team.
As a Carpenter, you will play a vital role in the construction and renovation of residential and commercial projects, using your expertise to deliver high‑quality work that meets industry standards. What you'll be doing
* Accurately measuring, cutting, and assembling wooden structures, such as walls, floors, roofs, and stairs
* Installing and repairing various types of woodwork, including cabinets, doors, and windows
* Interpreting and following architectural plans and blueprints to ensure projects are completed to specification
* Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure seamless project integration
* Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
* Providing quality workmanship and exceptional customer service to our clients
What we're looking for
* Completion of a recognised carpentry apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
* 3‑5 years of proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in the residential and commercial construction sectors
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints
* Excellent problem‑solving and critical thinking skills to overcome challenges on the job
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work
* Excellent time‑management and organisational skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule
* A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
