We are seeking an expert in water quality management to oversee our operations in Bendigo, Ballarat and CFA contracts.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our drinking water and wastewater operations meet all contractual, health, environmental and legislative requirements while driving process optimisation and innovation across multiple sites.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technical leader to provide guidance, mentor operations teams and contribute to business development projects with a global leader in water management.
Key Responsibilities
* Evaluate and improve water and wastewater quality processes
* Analyse data to optimise treatment plant performance
* Develop and implement process control strategies for treatment plants
* Lead process reviews, investigations and incident response
* Drive Green Up Net Zero initiatives to reduce chemical and energy usage
* Provide technical support for business development, plant designs and upgrades
* Conduct process modelling and technical reviews of treatment facilities
* Mentor operations and technical teams
* Participate in Quality Management Systems and certification audits
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as chemical engineering
* Demonstrated experience in water or wastewater treatment operations
* Sound knowledge of Australian Drinking Water Guidelines and relevant environmental legislation
* Excellent communication and report writing skills
