Counsellor Role
We are seeking an experienced Counsellor to support individuals affected by Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs.
About the Role
Karralika Programs is a values-based organisation that aims to provide high-quality support services for vulnerable people. As a Counsellor, you will be part of our team in Canberra, working with Adults and Families in Residential Programs.
Your Key Responsibilities
* You will work with clients to identify and address their Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) issues.
* You should have experience as a Counsellor in the AOD or relevant sector, hold a Diploma in Counselling or higher, and be eligible for registration with PACFA, ACA, AHPRA, or AASW – Mental Health endorsed.
* You will conduct assessments and develop individualised plans to support client recovery.
* You will maintain accurate records of client progress and outcomes.
What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A current National Police Check
* A current Working with Vulnerable People Registration (ACT)
