As a Structural Engineer at Sydney Water, you will support design reviews, update standards, implement the Engineering Assurance framework, and provide technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the identification, creation and active management of technical specifications, standards and guidelines related to Structural engineering.
* Assist in evaluating innovation in Structural Engineering aspects, maintaining oversight and processing deviation requests to relevant technical guidelines, standards and specifications.
* Provide input to the definition of information, insights, data, systems, models and tools required for engineering and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and information.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil or structural discipline, that is recognised under the Washington Accord or Engineers Australia, with relevant experience in Structural Engineering.
* A drivers license (C class).
* Approximately five (5) years of experience predominantly in structural design.
* Demonstrated experience in structural design of water retaining structures.
* Ability to investigate and challenge Sydney Water standards, Australian and international standards, and industry practice to ensure that the organisation can innovate solutions.
* Exposure in working in a multi-disciplinary design team.
