Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Occupational Therapist – Community Care (Level 3) who is ready for a new adventure. About The Role
Step into a senior clinical leadership position as a Level 3 Occupational Therapist. You'll provide expert assessment and therapeutic interventions while guiding junior staff and driving service improvements across Murrumbidgee Local Health District. This role offers the autonomy to make high-level clinical decisions while working collaboratively within a dynamic multidisciplinary team focused on Occupational Therapy service delivery in the community.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive Occupational Therapy services including assessment, treatment and preventative care Demonstrate high-level clinical expertise and evidence-based practice in accordance with MLHD CORE valuesLead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient health outcomes and facilitate safe, timely interventionProvide clinical supervision and support to Level 1/2 Occupational Therapists, Allied Health Assistants and studentsContribute to service planning, quality improvement initiatives and research activitiesMaintain accurate documentation and activity statistics in line with Key Performance IndicatorsParticipate in professional development, clinical supervision and the MLHD Professional Discipline Network

Our Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registrationDemonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skills and experience in a specialty area with emphasis on evidence-based practiceExperience in clinical and team leadership, including staff/student supervision, policy development and service improvementProven ability to initiate, lead and evaluate quality improvement initiatives and researchExcellent communication (written and verbal), negotiation, decision-making and advocacy skills with diverse stakeholdersStrong time management and IT skills, including willingness to use TeleHealth and travel for work purposesClass C Driver's Licence, National Police Check, NSW Working with Children Check, and Vaccination Category A compliance
