The Opportunity
We are undertaking an exciting transformation across our People Systems, and we are looking for a talented People Systems Analyst to join our team on a 12-month max-term contract In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate closely with business teams to ensure our critical systems – from payroll to learning, onboarding, health & safety, and employee injury management – are aligned with our evolving needs.
What will you be doing:
- Collaborate with business teams to identify system improvements that meet key requirements.
- Drive innovation, contribute to the development and maintenance of these systems, and support initiatives that will have a lasting impact on the business as we continue to scale.
- Lead configuration, testing, and documentation of People system changes to enhance functionality.
- Provide second-level support for incidents and outages, ensuring quick resolutions.
- Analyse recurring system issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions.
- Manage lifecycle and integrations of People systems to ensure optimal performance and data accuracy.
- Conduct user access reviews and deliver ongoing training to internal teams, ensuring proper system use and compliance.
About You:
We are looking for a people-focused IT or HR systems professional with experience across various People applications. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience with People systems (e.g., Payroll), and at least one other application (e.g., Learning, Recruitment, or Onboarding)
- Strong understanding of application design, integration, and service desk operations
- Knowledge of Industrial Agreement implementation within HR systems
- Familiarity with MS SQL, Life Lens, and database management
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively
