What We Are Looking For
A high-risk work (HRW) licence and other qualifications under Workplace Health and Safety will be highly regarded.
A trade certificate in a maintenance or industry-related field will be highly regarded.
Experience in the mining industry is desirable.
Physical fitness is necessary for field work in remote locations and challenging terrains.
The Following Requirements Are Essential To This Role
Current open C Class driver license.
About The Site Supervisor Role
In this role, you will undertake activities to support the management of risks associated with abandoned mines. This includes planning and delivery of major project works related to care and maintenance or remediation of abandoned mines and infrastructure.
Supervise site operators, contractors, and consultants, ensuring compliance with PCBU obligations, site HSEMP requirements, and legislation.
Manage and supervise contract activities, assessing performance against criteria.
Plan, monitor, and interpret findings from investigations, studies, and field monitoring activities for project scope and management consideration.
Interpret technical reports to guide project planning and risk management.
Integrate risk assessment processes into management plans and facilitate workshops on risks and controls.
