Overview
We are seeking a Front of House Duty Manager to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Busselton. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Front Office Manager in ensuring efficient and effective operations within the hotel's Front Office Department.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the Front Office, including reception, reservations, and guest services
* Supervise and support team members in their roles, providing guidance and training as required
* Ensure exceptional guest service is consistently delivered, and any issues or concerns are addressed promptly
* Be responsible for managing shift handovers and ensuring accurate reporting and record keeping
Skills and experience required
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a hotel environment, with a focus on front office operations
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests, team members, and stakeholders
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in supervising and training staff
* A focus on delivering exceptional customer service and resolving issues efficiently and effectively
* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* RSA and ideally Approved manager's certificate or willing to get
* Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* A flexible approach to working hours, with the ability to work shifts, weekends, and overnight when required
* Must have current working rights in Australia
