* Expected salary: $76,515 - $80,000 per year
ANZSCO - Planning, organising, running events, social functions and special events, including planning and delivering race days. Coordinating all operational, logistical and promotional aspects, liaising with clients, suppliers, venues and staff, including sponsor coordination, logistics, staff supervision, budget management and post‑event reporting to ensure the successful delivery of events. A Bachelor's degree would be beneficial, or a combination of study and experience is also acceptable, and candidates must have good English (written and verbal).
Responsibilities
Main tasks include:
* Liaise with clients to determine objectives and requirements for events such as conferences, festivals, and race days.
* Plan and prepare budgets and manage expenditure within financial limits.
* Coordinate services such as catering, signage, audiovisuals, transport, and equipment hire.
* Negotiate contracts with suppliers, sponsors, and service providers.
* Organise registrations, publicity, and promotional activities.
* Oversee event operations, scheduling, staffing, and compliance with regulations.
* Monitor event progress and resolve issues on‑site.
* Review post‑event performance and prepare evaluation reports.
