Who are AnglicareSA looking for?

They are calling out for Volunteers who have a passion for supporting our communities and want to give back in a meaningful way.


In this role you will be required to respond to practical needs by providing relief through the provision of:

* food
* clothing
* support
* advocacy for individuals & families who need assistance.

What can you expect to be doing?

* Ability to use initiative and work within the boundaries, procedures and guidelines
* Provide financial and material aid to clients in consultation with the Coordinator
* Provide appropriate advice, information and referral of clients
* Ensure clients are receiving all entitled benefits and concessions
* Provide accurate and timely data entry support including other administrative tasks


What do you need to bring?

* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Patience, empathy and the willingness to help.
* Relate well with people from a variety of different backgrounds.
* Ability to work with compassion and in a non-judgmental and respectful manner
* Have a working knowledge and understanding of client privacy and confidentiality
* Make accurate and non-judgemental records of client interviews
