You'll be joining a specialist ICT contractor delivering large‑scale fibre and copper installations across major data centres and hyperscale sites. Your new role
You'll work as part of a dedicated installation and commissioning team, supporting the rollout of high‑capacity communications networks in new data centre environments. Your work will involve fibre splicing, copper cabling, network testing, fault‑finding and providing clear documentation for project teams. The role suits techs who enjoy detailed work, structured processes and high‑specification sites.
What you'll need to succeed
* Fusion splicing experience across singlemode & multimode fibre
* Installation and termination of Cat6a cabling systems
* Competency using Fluke, EXFO or AFL testers
* Ability to read pathways, drawings and test reports
* Strong analytical skills for isolating faults across fibre and copper
* Good communication and teamwork ability on live project sites
* Data centre or hyperscale experience desirable, not essential
* Full working rights and a current driver's licence
