Senior Sales Manager Job
Job Summary:
The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for leading a high-performing sales team to achieve strategic sales outcomes and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and improve performance
* Manage and grow a customer portfolio across the East Coast, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic sales plans
* Support bids and tenders, leveraging commercial insight to secure long-term contracts
* Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and senior leaders to align sales strategy with business goals
* Travel interstate monthly to stay connected with the team, customers, and opportunities on the ground
Requirements:
* Proven experience in sales leadership, with a track record of delivering results and improving team performance
* Background in operations or sales, with a strong understanding of commercial principles and strategies
* Experience managing national portfolios and navigating complex customer relationships
* Comfortable with (or curious about) bids and tenders
* Ideally, experience in remote leadership and motivation of teams across states
