Job Title:
Inventory Management Specialist
As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating inventory levels and supply chain logistics across our distribution network. This includes maintaining accurate plans to reflect feasible delivery targets, evaluating and updating parameters for re-order points and order quantities.
You will work closely with factories and inform the organization on supply plans and deviations, securing delivery performance according to targets to serve our customers' expectations.
The role involves managing Overstock and Obsolete articles in cooperation with S&OP Managers and Demand Planners, developing scrapping processes, reviewing out of stock situations or shortage of supply issues and recommending mitigating actions.
Additionally, you will handle claims and goods returns, manage and improve supply plans and orders to factories, provide forecast and net demand to factories, discuss and agree on flexibility with factories, place and monitor orders upon Manufacturing based upon agreed lead time and capacity availability.
You will analyze supply plans to ensure that factories/suppliers are provided with the correct information, set up inventory targets for Vendor supplies & Pack Components and monitor actual inventory levels vs. targets.
This role requires direct contact with S&OP managers and sales companies connected to central/regional warehouses, conducting root cause analysis for supply chain issues/variances and performing define corrective action plans to avoid reoccurrence.
