About the role
At Pearla and co', we are seeking an experienced Venue Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our vibrant waterfront establishment in North Fremantle, WA. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for leading a talented team and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of an exciting new venue
What you'll be doing
- Managing all aspects of the venue's operations, including staffing, inventory, budgeting, and compliance
- Overseeing the delivery of exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality
- Developing and implementing strategies to drive revenue, increase profitability, and enhance the customer experience
- Fostering a positive, collaborative team environment and providing effective leadership and mentorship to staff
- Ensuring the venue adheres to all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Liaising with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to support the venue's success
- Monitoring and analysing key performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
- Working with the Kitchen team to understand a knowledge first menu that will pride itself of provenance and technique that will inspire the team and customers
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar venue management role within the hospitality industry
- Strong operational and financial management skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective business strategies
- Exceptional customer service and people management skills, with a proven track record of leading and motivating teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers, staff and producers
- Thorough understanding of relevant health & safety, and licensing regulations and the ability to ensure compliance
- Proficient in using hospitality management software, POS and data analysis tools
- Passion for the hospitality industry, amazing produce and a beverage programme that will be inspiring but approachable
- Demonstrated management experience in restaurants and bars/pubs with hands-on operational knowledge
- Experience managing teams of 6-15 staff members in a hospitality environment
- Australian work rights required for this position
- Must obtain RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification before commencement
