Hospitality Worker - Terrace Gardens, Casual
Australian Regional and Remote Community Services – Darwin NT
We have a new opportunity for an experienced Hospitality Worker, including shifts within cleaning, kitchen hand and laundry, to join our Terrace Gardens facility located in Palmerston, NT on a casual basis. This means you will join a pool of casual employees and will be contacted when ad hoc shifts are available. This role attracts a base salary of $29.53 - $31.81 / hour (pending experience) + 25% casual loading.
Your role as a Hospitality Worker will see you providing support across kitchen hand, laundry and cleaning duties, including cleaning both within residents' rooms and common areas, linen and personal laundry services, as well as preparing, dishwashing and serving meals to our residents.
As the ideal candidate you will be looking to work on a casual ad hoc basis and commit to shifts as and when they become available. You will be comfortable working across the three hospitality services.

Skills & experience:
To be considered for this role, you must submit a resume identifying the following skills and experience:
* Demonstrated experience in one or more core areas of Hospitality work – Cleaning, Laundry, or Kitchen support.
* Currently holds or willing to obtain the Certified Food Handlers Certificate – 3.2.2A.
* Willing to work within a casual pool committing to ad hoc shifts only.
* Be well presented, organised, and committed to work.
* Have a caring and supportive nature towards vulnerable and elderly people.
* Ability to manage and work within a culturally diverse team environment.
* Ability to undertake a range of manual handling functions related to the role.
