Position Overview
This role will play a pivotal part in strengthening community-led solutions for innovative cancer and palliative care models for First Nations people in Gippsland. The successful candidate will be responsible for building culturally safe partnerships and developing better ways to deliver medication education and care.
The appointee will have a degree qualification in a relevant field with extensive relevant experience, or extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
* The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, and a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding First Nations health and wellbeing.
Critical Responsibilities:
* Liaise with communities to develop culturally safe practices and improve healthcare outcomes for First Nations people.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to inform policy and contribute to research knowledge.
* Develop and implement effective strategies to build partnerships and strengthen community-led initiatives.
Key Requirements:
* Relevant degree qualification with extensive relevant experience, or extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
