You’ll drive performance, compliance, and cost control across the state, while fostering a safety-first mindset and increasing team engagement. Leading drivers and two supervisors, you’ll ensure high service standards and operational excellence. Regular travel to sites within Southeast Queensland as required. Key Responsibilities Manage performance, compliance, and maintenance schedules of our fleet to keep operations running smoothly. Engage with drivers daily to provide guidance, resolve issues, and build positive relationships. Monitor KPIs and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery. Financial cost control and responsibility for optimising routes for maximum productivity. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver seamless operations. Travel to sites across Queensland to support team engagement and operational oversight. What You’ll Bring Experience in fleet or transport management within the waste or recycling industry. Strong background in a leadership and people management role. Knowledge of transport compliance, safety standards and regulations (eg. CoR and NHVR) Demonstrated experience in report preparation and presentation to key stakeholders. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
