**The Role**
Reporting to the Sales Director for the Professional Division, this role will focus on sales and account management for the Commercial channel. On an individual basis, 70% of your sales will be driven at the pre-construction specification phase, selling mainly to Architects, Specifiers, Designers and Business Development Managers. A further 30% of the sales will be via retrofit sales, key commercial distributors such as Harvey Norman Commercial and The Good Guys Commercial, Government, HORECA and ad-hoc projects such as airports and hotels.
This opportunity will see you work with 'best-in-class, highly reputable products and a highly collaborative and supportive team. There will be a small component of travel, both within the state of NSW and interstate. In the future, you will have the opportunity to manage 2 Business Development Managers and look at cross-functional, interstate and international opportunities.
Day-to-day requirements of the role:
- Regular customer consultations
- Sell to Architects, Designers, Buyers and BDMs
- Working with B2B / Commercial customers and distributors
- Develop strong relationships for future opportunities
- Specify product at design phase, understanding installs, workarounds & site inspections
- Work on tenders for Government contracts
- Collaborate on projects
- Achieve team-related sales budgets
**Skills & Experience**
- 2 + years of experience in specification, architectural or commercial sales
- Exposure to installs, workarounds and site inspections
- Strong communication style
- Ability to work as part of a close-knit team
- Demonstrateable technical capability
- Sound use of CRM reporting tools
