Overview
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Trades Assistant to join our team at Constructive PD in Mandurah, Western Australia. This full-time role will see you working alongside our skilled tradespeople, providing essential support to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects.
Responsibilities
* Assisting tradespeople with a variety of tasks, such as material handling, tool preparation, and general site clean-up
* Performing general labouring duties, including digging, drilling, and demolition work
* Maintaining a safe and organised work environment by following all health and safety protocols
* Working collaboratively with the construction team to ensure project milestones are met
* Undertaking any other duties as required to support the success of the project
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Trades Assistant or Labourer, in the construction industry
* Excellent physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
* Familiarity with construction tools and equipment, and a keen interest in the trades
* Access to your own tool kit
* A valid driver\'s licence and reliable transportation to the Mandurah work site
* HRWL – WP and Working at Heights – not essential but are favourable
* Construction White Card – essential
