We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Practitioner to join our team in a rural setting. As a primary healthcare provider, you will cater to the diverse needs of patients from an agricultural and farming community with a high number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals.
* Broad primary healthcare services including paediatric, youth, adult, and aged care health
* Immunisation and general medicine
* Shared ante and postnatal care, travel, and tourist medicine
* Employment medicals, mental health, minor injuries, chronic pain, preventive health checks, extended primary care, indigenous healthcare, and chronic disease management
About the Role
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and cultural awareness. You will work closely with a full-time nursing team and administration staff to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide primary healthcare services to patients of all ages
2. Conduct routine check-ups, vaccinations, and health screenings
3. Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries
4. Develop and implement treatment plans for complex health conditions
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
