About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Recoveries Manager
to actively oversee our recoveries services, existing and new client accounts, and manage our National Recoveries team from Sydney, NSW. This full-time permanent 2IC role can be worked on a flexible/hybrid basis.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily recoveries workload with case instructions to achieve desired client outcomes.
Liaise with clients and 3rd party suppliers (incl. solicitors and field agents) to ensure timely and effective actioning.
Conduct regular meetings and calls with existing clients to nurture relationships.
Actively participate in researching new opportunities and enhancing the partner experience.
Review, maintain and document procedures to ensure we remain compliant with the various codes, regulations and partner workflows.
Ensure meeting KPI's for each client and follow up.
Monitor and oversee case outcomes, actively problem-solve, provide guidance on sensitive matters and"\u****"escalate where needed.
Provide regular reporting for Management, participate in audit and case studies.
Actively participate in team development to expected standards.
Ensure personal and team adherence to Privacy Act, NCCP, ASIC and ACCC debt collection principles.
Deliver on projects as required by the business and partners.
About You
You're an organised professional with:
5+ years of previous experience in Recoveries/Collection role.
Sound understanding of bank collection and recoveries processes, mercantile agent activities and relevant legislation.
Team management experience fostering teamwork and skills development, able to mentor and coach other team members.
Relationship focused client approach with professional presentation and negotiation skills.
Outgoing personality applying diversity principles in practice.
Organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong commitment to compliance, confidentiality and risk management.
