About the Role
* Lead sales efforts and drive revenue growth across key national accounts, especially with Aldi and in alternate channels.
* Develop and execute national sales strategies to meet business objectives and increase revenue.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts, focusing on Emerging, Alternate, and E-commerce channels.
Key responsibilities include:
* Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute national sales strategies to meet business objectives and increase revenue.
* Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets; manage category review processes for all categories with key customers.
* Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate profitable agreements with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
* Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
* Business Development: Conduct market research to identify new customers and market opportunities.
Requirements:
* 5-7 years of National Account Management experience in grocery, with existing relationships with Aldi and knowledge of alternative channels.
* Tertiary qualification in Business/Commerce or related field.
* Strong relationship-building, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
