Are you passionate about patient safety and precision in healthcare? We're seeking a dedicated Sterilisation Technician Grade 2 to deliver high‑quality sterilisation services that directly support Infection Prevention & Control and enhance patient outcomes. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient reprocessing of reusable medical devices that support clinical care across Campbelltown Hospital.
* Operate advanced reprocessing equipment for decontamination, disinfection, packaging, and sterilisation of reusable medical devices
* Ensure timely and accurate sterilisation for surgical procedures and broader clinical services, including Oral Health
* Maintain strong communication with the CSSD team and clinical staff using clear verbal and written skills
* Utilise basic computer systems to ensure full traceability and accountability of instrument sets
* Support Grade 1 Technicians while working independently under general supervision in line with AS/NZS 5369:2023

* Hold a Certificate in Sterilising Services with current hands‑on experience
* Bring strong interpersonal skills to collaborate within a dynamic team of Sterilisation Technicians
* Demonstrate commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement in patient care
* Work 8‑hour rotational shifts (day and afternoon), including opportunities for weekend and public holiday shifts
Selection Criteria

* Certificate II or III in Health Service Assistance (Sterilisation Services) or equivalent.

* Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and Public Holidays for the provision of a 7 day service to the Peri-Operative Services Department.
