Our Impact at Scale

We support over 50,000 lives annually, making a meaningful difference in South Australian communities. From foster care to aged care, our diverse services are designed to meet the unique needs of individuals and families.

A special kind of person is needed to work in this sector – someone with real compassion and care. If you're this person, join us as a Senior Practitioner in our Integrated Family Services Reunification program.

About the Role

This 12-month maternity leave contract offers a rare opportunity to lead change and make a lasting impact. As a Senior Practitioner, you'll champion the reconnection of children with their families through culturally safe, trauma-responsive, and therapeutic practice.

You'll be instrumental in guiding a passionate and collaborative team, elevating child-centric approaches, and amplifying children's voices in the reunification process. This role goes beyond traditional case work, allowing you to lead through mentoring, shape service delivery frameworks, and walk alongside families navigating complex challenges.

Your expertise in child protection and culturally empowered practice will drive innovation following a major program review, supporting new and holistic approaches to healing and growth. You'll ensure culturally responsive and inclusive service delivery, applying therapeutic interventions to promote child safety, wellbeing, and family reconnection.

To succeed in this role, you'll:

• Ensure culturally responsive and inclusive service delivery

• Apply therapeutic interventions to promote child safety and wellbeing

• Build strong relationships across services and facilitate effective collaborations

• Create practical, goal-oriented case plans and assessments for long-term reunification

About You

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• A relevant degree in Social Work, Psychology, Early Childhood, or related Social Sciences, or extensive equivalent experience

• Strong working knowledge of South Australian child protection legislation

• Proven capability in case management, including collaborative assessment, planning, and documentation

• Compliance with all special conditions, including WWCC, NPC, and current driver's license

About Us

We value your contribution and strive to create a workplace where everyone feels they belong. Join us and help shape the future of families.

Benefits Include:

• Increased take-home pay with salary packaging options

• Savings on health insurance, gym memberships, vehicles, etc.

• Flexible work arrangements, including remote work, part-time, compressed weeks, and flexible hours

• Opportunities for professional development, learning programs, and education assistance

• Employee wellbeing program, confidential assistance, chaplaincy services, domestic violence support, and more
