Job Description
Our Water Group is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer.
With 90 years of partnership in Western Australia, we have strong client relationships and a deep understanding of their challenges.
Our team is well-known for water infrastructure and water resources engineering and science consulting, collaborating with industry leaders like major mining firms and Defence.

This role will provide technical leadership in the planning and execution of mechanical engineering projects for water utilities, local government, and resources industry clients.
As a senior member of the water engineering team, you'll be responsible for leading technical design development, developing project plans, collaborating with clients, and overseeing day-to-day execution.
You'll communicate project updates, technical milestones, and ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Leading the technical design development of mechanical aspects of systems and equipment for projects
* Development of detailed project plans outlining scope, timeline, budget, and resource requirements
* Collaboration with clients to understand project requirements, address concerns, and provide technical expertise
* Overseeing the day-to-day execution of mechanical engineering projects ensuring alignment with project goals
* Communication of project updates, technical milestones, and ensuring client satisfaction
What would you bring to the team?
* Experience as a Project Engineer with focus on design and specification of mechanical equipment for water and wastewater treatment across municipal and industrial applications including construction, commissioning, or operation of treatment plants
* Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, proposals, or projects with professionalism and proactivity
* Proven ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively within our business and externally
* Strong writing and communication skills to produce high-quality reports and proposals and liaise with clients
* A passion for successful delivery, client service, and knowledge sharing including developing junior team members
