As a Chief Security Officer, you are responsible for managing and maintaining Honeywell Building Solution's Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) portfolio in Australia.
You will ensure compliance with all obligations outlined in the Defence Security Policy Framework (DSPF).
The role is open to anyone who is suitable to be based in either of these 3 locations: Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
The CSO will be accountable to the Honeywell Australian Board of Directors, providing strategic oversight on protective security matters to support the continuous delivery of business operations.
This role includes establishing and maintaining security arrangements tailored to Honeywell's risk profile concerning personnel, information, and resources.
Key Responsibilities Lead Honeywell Building Solutions Australia and its customers in the development and implementation of Protective Security requirements, responsibilities, and compliance across Australia Ensure compliance with all obligations outlined in the Defence Security Policy Framework (DSPF) Fulfill Australia Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) reporting requirements, including the submission of the annual security report and ensuring security training availability for all employees Establish and maintain security arrangements tailored to Honeywell's risk profile concerning personnel, information, and resources Implementation and ongoing management of approved document storage solutions within Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) Ensuring all sensitive and classified information is stored, accessed, and disposed of in strict accordance with Defence security standards and Honeywell's internal policies Key Experience & Capabilities Preferred bachelor's degree in related field Extensive experience within the Defence Industry or with the Australian Department of Defence Extensive experience working with Australian Government classified data Significant experience managing Defence security operations, supported by relevant training or tertiary qualifications Experience handling highly sensitive personally identifiable information Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Australian Defence Security requirements Hold and maintain at least an NV1 security clearance Excellent interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborative relationships at all levels Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Who We Are The Future Is What We Make It at Honeywell.
