Are you a dynamic healthcare leader passionate about delivering high-quality, community-based aged care services? We’re seeking a highly motivated Manager for Ambulatory Aged Care Programs to oversee the strategic and operational delivery of multidisciplinary aged care services across the region.
About the Role In this key leadership role, you will guide a diverse clinical and administrative team delivering evidence-based care through programs.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of aged care services across home-based and centre-based settings
* Oversee staff recruitment, development, and retention, ensuring clinical excellence across all programs
* Drive service outcomes to meet government funding and contractual obligations, particularly for TCP
* Collaborate with internal departments, residential aged care facilities, and external healthcare providers
* Develop and implement annual operational plans, budgets, and quality improvement initiatives
* Ensure clinical governance standards are upheld across all services
About you:
Experienced healthcare leader with a background in nursing, allied health, or similar disciplines, and a proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in aged or community care settings.
You’ll bring:
* Current registration with AHPRA (Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, etc.), or relevant professional association
* Extensive experience in complex care coordination, discharge planning, and community-based service delivery
* Demonstrated capability in HR and budget management, performance planning, and service growth
* Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
* Understanding of clinical governance frameworks, quality improvement processes, and aged care legislation
